I think you should use gzip of your webpage and cdn to decrease speed anyway 4 to 5 secs in google is not bad.

I suggest you to go for http://twinklehost.com for fast and best supporting system.

If you canm afford dedicated hosting, i suggest you to check hostgator's plans. Hostgator has a very good support team and also good servers.

Yes I think it will definately. Also, maybe I'm stating the obvious, but host your site on a server that resides in the same country/region as your target audience.

4-5 seconds is terrible ... our sites all load pretty much straight away. But then we just changed from virtual shared to a VPS, they were very slow before that.

You might need to upgrade to a VPS, as sometimes a shared hosting account can't handle what you need.

wow lets all plug our favorite host ...lol.... i think the best thing you can do is ensure your host is in your country..and stay away from big shared hosting. Stay away from crap like Go daddy and even host gator for 5.00 month. If you want really fast you gotta pay for things like a dedicated host.

I would say 3-4 seconds is not that bad. However, if you are going to switch the hosting I would recommend based on your budget. If you are willing to spend $10+ / month then there are many available options such as Hostgator. Otherwise you may consider many small web hosting companies in DP. The small companies are tend to have a better in personal service, faster support and flexible in available options.
