Quick question up for a vote: we are beginning the recovery of some deleted files. If we end up finding a deleted file that was re-uploaded, do you guys still want us to recover the old links? Or should we assume that you posted new links and don't care about the old ones?

BTW, any news about deleted files notification/tab in FM ?

 

Cool. How about we add a prefix of "RC" (for recovered) to the filenames so you guys differentiate those files form others?

First priority this week is getting emails to work again, and then we'll work on that. If not this week, then early next week.

yeah, it is pending like a day.
so i choose to upload via ftp
but it seems they shave the amount of upload tasks that i can start at the same time

i used to be able to upload 10 files at the same time via ftp,but now i can only start 4

and file manager is the worst i've ever seen, too damn slow
and when we choose files ,and hit the copy button, the file manager should ask us where to copy to
just like fileserve does,and please dump that prefix "copy of"

 

Add my vote to DeletedUser's for keeping both files. I do not bother replacing my links (too much time) except to a couple select sites on a re-up and the majority of my links you deleted are parts of archives. Thus, many more files were effected besides the ones you deleted and will not be made whole unless you recover the files. Thanks.

 

Going back to my archive situation, this is not ideal. If the system can support 2 files with the same name, I would prefer my file names remain unchanged. If not, some of my downloaders are not going to have the insight to rename the recovered parts when they attempt to extract the archive. ;-)

 

Good point. We'll recover whatever we can with the same file names.

can you consider allowing remote upload to a folder instead of the root derictory, this will help us really so much

 

I reupload some of my files, if you recover files with the same file names I will not know which is which :/
