Help needed

I have a site PR4.But the problem is that I checked in checkpagerank.us the site shows PR4 and info also exisits in Google but Google toolbar shows PR0 without www and PR4 with www and I also checked SEO Quake it also shows PR0

What does this mean that site is PR4 or PR0?

It would be appreciated if anyone would help me in this issue.

I best believe the later checking of your website's PR using Google toolbar and SEO Quake since both these tools are more trusted and more reliable than checkpagerank.us.

 

I chekced from SEO Quake it shows PR0 and google toolbar shows PR4 with www and PR0 without www.What this means?The site anme shows pagerank fake or real because info exists in Google with www and without www.

 

Could be a problem in the toolbar. Is the site showing up for targeted keywords?

 

The site is showing perfectly for targeted keywords.

 

Google treat www and non-www as a different domain
To solve this issue, you just need to make 301 redirect non-www to www

They are real. the different because google doesnt consider them as the same website
www.domain.com is website A and domain.com is website B
Just googling "301 redirect" and you can get tons of tutorial

 

In that case, should be the toolbar itself.

 

It mean that your domain going to change PR. Result are depending with which SERP you are connected. Anyway, after some time, everything will be same, and probably you will lost PR in this situation. Nothing to do.

 

Why will my site loose PR?Any solution to retain PR?

 

It can be happened for two reasons:
1) Google consider www and non www website different from each other.
2) Maybe the domain is PR4 but the link of your home page has another structure. For example your website is like this:
www.yourdomain.com/index.php
In this case the poage rank of your domain will be be affected to www.yourdomain.com/index.php

 

I successfully made a 301 redirect non-www to www.Now the site is redirected to www which Google toolbar shows PR4.When will my site retain its PR4 without www.Do i have to wait for PR update or it will happen automatically?

 

If there only diferent PR between www. and without it, then you will not lose PR.
In other way you will receive PR0 soon.
For now, I don't know reason and how retain PR, but I saw it at few my pages and working at reasons.
