How can someone explain why on earth Adsense behave like that ? I worked hard to increase my CTR and I get the same money for 100 clicks as for 20 clicks ? Imagine you have 20 clicks and earn X $ for it in one day. Because you want better results you decide to work hard and accomplish more. You sit down for days and increase your traffic 5 times, increase your CTR 5 times but you are paid the same. This is true and if you not believe it, at least ask to this question. If you have X clicks / day and you increase the traffic and get (5 * X) clicks, do you expect Adsense to pay 5 times better ?
Calciu Sorin It will.. it takes some time to increase.... as you said... what you do to increase your CRT? If you got quality traffic than it will increase 100%
It takes a lot of time and dedication. Keep working hard at it and you will see good results. This was the same for me.
It really depends which ads are clicked and if your site is sonverting well for the advertisers, if not then you get smart priced and do not earn the same ECPM
Payout per click is all over the place with adsense. I get anything from a cent or two to $15 a click.
Yeah, give it some time for your ad units to age. Google doesn't make advertisers pay premium prices on unknown sites (smart pricing). If your traffic is converting at least at average levels then it will start to go up.
I agree. I have two domain names with virtually the same content. One is 3 years old and one is newer. The older domain with the same amount of traffic almost constantly brings in more $$. Maybe it's a coincidence, but I doubt it.
Heh, me too, although 8 years and 1.5 years here. They have almost identical impressions and CTR too. The newer site has much higher quality content but the older one can make as much in a day as the other makes in a month.
In my case the traffic doubled (organic) and at the same time my adsense earnings are going down. Impressions going up = cpm going down - it's almost like a rule. I guess there are sorts of triggers to increase google profits keeping the "smart pricing" idea in mind.
I think you are right. I also think it is the unique traffic that counts most. Let's say someone has a forum with tons of returning visitors, the earning are going to be substantially less from those clicks then from the clicks of unique visitors. I am kind of guessing here.
This is true but some time adsense don't pay against some click they may some time 10-20% clicks. But the right way for you to just create good sites or blogs with a number of posting. Then try to increase traffic on your blog, after that you will see good result. Because this is not a fast earning business, you to work hard. After getting good traffic on your sites or blog you will see good results. In simple word this is slow and steady game.
I think you should not lose the hope, just try hard and promote your site well and you will get success. I was havign same problem but now i am earning good
