One more question. I would like to purchase the $10 vps. I have a script that I want to install on it (TubeAce- adult script, hope you accept that). If the script doesn't work because the resources are not enough, do you agree to give me my money-back?
If it is LEGAL adult content we no problem giving you the 30 day money back guarantee, usually customers do not ask about the money back guarantee pre sale. If you are abusing our server you will not get your refund. 99% of abusers are aware that they were abusing. If it looks like you really did have a legitimate purpose, that did not appear to be intentional abuse then we will consider a refund. My advice would be for you to test your script on a local machine before you try it on any vps so you will know what to expect.
I just want to know if the script I bought works on your VPS (meaning that I will upload just one clip, legally bought, to see how long will it take for the script to work - if it works I will continue using your service, I will not ask for a refund, so basically I need the VPS for a couple of hours). I asked about the money back because if the script doesn't work on the VPS then it has no use to me and I wanted to make that clear. I don't have any intention to use your service to the max for 29 days and then ask for a refund. About testing it on my local machine, could you tell me how can I limit my resources(what program to use?)? Thanks and I hope you understand-ed my needs; don't want to abuse the VPS, but if it doesn't work with my script, I don't need it.
The VPS package 2 of YDGH is able to run any kind of scripts, but mind that this kind of scripts doesn't only need a powerful VPS or DEDICATED Server, you need to setup other components that are able to encode/decode different video formats into Flash Movies that are not installed by default on every VPS. Me, that am not at all affiliated with YDGH, I can assure that this kind of VPS can run a lot of scripts and also very quickly, but the problem remain the same: You need to have the necessary scripts configured on it.
Despite what is claimed in the thread about Virpus positively, please read: Additionally take a look at their lack of respect for their customers: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1911936&highlight=virpus I recommend staying away.
hmmm... looks like not the right choice for a newbie costumer like me... I better go with companies that install control panels for free, and there are lots of them! lol
