If you lost everything, and had to start again. What would you do?

You lost everything, your income, your traffic, your sites, and even your list -- you have to start again from scratch.

    What would you do?

Would you do anything different from last time?

I would definitely take a break first. 2-3 months. I don't think it would do any good to jump into the same routine and build everything all over again.

Something similar actually happened to me. I took a year long break from affiliate marketing. Didn't want to hear about it, didn't want to come back to it. But then gradually I started getting ideas in my head as to how I could change things and here I am - back in it, and this time around I feel so much better about what I am doing.

It's really hard to start over from 0. As vitalbusiness says after a break maybe you can start again.

Sam Walton, Dave Ramsey, any number of successful and super-rich people have "lost it all" several times.
There is always a new beginning, and those who keep trying, pick up even after bankruptcy, and never quit eventually succeed.

You actually haven't lost everything not as long as you still have lungs to breath and a mind to think.

"The greatest glory never comes from falling, but from rising each time you fall."

Goddamn, that was so cheesy of me XD

Take a break for a while, make up your mind and get started with your previous project again as you will be having experience along with enough knowledge required.

If you gained something by yourself. Then it will not be so hard to reach it next time.

If you did it before, you can do it again. But this time, avoid the mistakes that made you lose everything.

I think you have no choice in this situation. No matter what you think, the life will go on. So just start from the very beginning. Without too much desires, life can be simple. Only if you have something to eat and some place to sleep. That's enough. Then you can work hard to regain what you want. It is not easy but it is not impossible.

I'd have a maximum of FIVE websites. And actually direct some focussed attention on them... instead of the shotgun approach I have at the moment.

Or I'd just forget the internet, and get a real estate license and get on with working 9-5 in a "real job".

Focus on one aspect of internet marketing and make that stick before moving on.....

Laser targeted approach vs scatter gun approach!

I start over every 6 months I've never used stable money to buy anything. It's fun and a challenge also keeps you humble.

If that happens to me I will take a deep breath and says "I think I need a break"...

Take detour for awhile and have a break... then few months take a shoot again and learn from your mistakes....
