Kaspersky, Norton, ESET antivirus, which is the best?

I have been using Avast! for some time but I don't like it. So my friend recommended Kaspersky, Norton and ESET to me. But I don't know which is best. Someone ever used any of them? Plz give me some ideas. Thx!

 

My recommendation would be Kaspersky. It seems to have no appreciable effect on the performance of my computer and my PC hasn't been infected in over a year. Norton always seemed to cripple my PC and make things very slow.

 

Norton is bit heavy.It slows down computer speed. i would go up with kaspersky

 

Ya, kaspersky is the best antivirus. 1Gb RAm is enough for it. Norton / symantec will make the computer very slow .....

 

ESET antivirus is best...

 

ESET is light and powerful.
Kaspersky -> Heavy but powerful
Norton -> Its 2011 version is good.

For my windows laptop I use 'Rising Antivirus' > free.
For my Mac only the firewall and other security settings that come with it. SY

 

I’ve been using Norton for two years. Norton runs fast and performs well on antivirus and blocking ads.

 

I didn't like Kaspersky at all. Slowest, heaviest AV I've ever used.

 

really? why ESET the best antivirus? just want to know.. can you share with me and others?

 

It's a bit out of topic, but i'm using Comodo Internet Security Premium, which is free version. Using for about 2 months and i'm satisfied.

 

i suppose to use kasperky before but it seems that it is very slow with full scan that is why i shifted with esset. it scans faster and aside from that it does not slow my computer.

 

kaspersky is the best but a little out of my money for buy this antivirus ihihihih sad ......

I have tried Kaspersky. It's a good antivirus although some says it's heavy...

 

From my experience, Kaspersky and ESET are both great AV.

 

Kaspersky blows. When I was running it to test it out it was using 1Gb of RAM and my PC almost ground to a halt (hex core processor).

 

Why not just use Microsoft Security Essential.......
also a very Good Antivirus you can get for free...

 

Kaspersky is best, norton is second and ESET third as you've listed them. Of course there are some that fall between, but Kaspersky is still the best

 

That's the opposite of my experience, having used all of them myself.
ESET first, Kaspersky second, Norton last.

But you live in a town that has the names of the two economists I despise most so it fits I suppose. Oh and it looks like he is an antivirus affiliate so who knows what his real opinions are, maybe kaspersky pays out the best.
