If each one of us, on this forum, had their real picture and real name in their profile, we'd all benefit from this forum twice as much, I think. This is me in the avatar. My name is Vitali. I am a Russian immigrant living in the US. I mostly respond to the threads if I think I can help someone, or if they are fun, or if I think I can get some help. With openness comes honesty. Can we ALL have our real pictures and names posted on here? Facebook does it. Other social networking sites do that. Why can it be like this on here? Do you know how much fraud would be gone from here if it was implemented? What do you think?

I mentioned Facebook. If people would have friends or someone they know hanging out in their accounts they would not post anything bad or controversial in their accounts. Or at least it would be reduced to a minimum. I don't know maybe it is a stupid idea, but somehow I think it would benefit all of us here.
I give my real name (and picture, I guess, if anyone cared enough to want it) to people I end up working with here. That's good enough for me.
I think you are right. With more honest and openess, the world will be more harmony. I'm totally agree with you myself. But many people just want hide behind the screen, but not expose themselves to the others. I think it is very hard to carry our your suggestions here in this forum.
It depends. Some users think that it is not safe to expose their real name and information to others.

Yes you are written right.If you are really honest then no one can cheat you because god is exist in these world.
Anyone who is here trying to deceive is only hindering their own learning and growth, which is what this forum (and others) do best and provide most. I wouldn't worry about the ones who are out to be dishonest. Do the right thing, and you (and I) will benefit most. That's what it's for.
