How To Fake an Income Screenshot in Under 5 Mins

Income screenshots really help people selling IM courses make more sales.

    However they are easily faked:

    http://www.bradgosse.com/index.php/2010/10/13/how-to-fake-an-income-screenshot-in-under-5-mins/

Even if they are not faked it is common for some scammers and unethical promoters to show screenshots that do not apply to what they are selling.

For example, they may show you how much they have earned from Clickbank when selling a product that teaches you how to advertise on Facebook.

However, those earnings are actually from something completely different, something they don't want to share or can't sell a course on. This seems to be very common among the IM scene.

If you see an income screenshot you should ignore it - it proves nothing, other than the person selling you it knows that income screenshots and videos make you more likely to buy.

I never believe screenshots. I only believe what's in my own bank account and you can definitely count on me to never share that info. Extremely rarely do you see people share anything if they're making money, they want to keep it for themselves.

Exactly what I'm thinking. If they are making all this money, whats the point of selling a few additional e-books or whatever else for merely a few dollars, plus lessen their supposed "income" because others start doing it.

Well, In 2010, It seems everything is photoshopped. I would need some hard evidence of the service actually working.

I think we'll be seeing a lot more companies offering more free unlimited trials. Affiliate programs are going to have to clean up their acts too cause they're the leading scam artists.

    I never believe screen shots.

If a site is so profitable why are they selling it ? Why not just run it and make all that money ?

About the only real way to halfway tell is to have the person make you a visitor account to their cpanel and look at the stats and do some math and see if the site might be anywhere close to what they say it is. but even that can be deceiving if they have ran bought traffic through it for a while.

Here's another way some people use to fake income screenshots. GO to any web page, clear the address bar, and paste this:
    javascript:document.body.contentEditable='true'; document.designMode='on'; void 0
    Code (markup):
and hit enter. Feel free to edit whatever you want on the page!

yes, you are right, but still most of the scammers i know of, always try to photoshop, but they cant' do it, coz they are not designers, and their editing is usually caught!

Not really, someone can be in need of money for some personal kind problem that's why he may be selling his business, that happens most of the time.

People sell however the odds of finding is slimmer than you think. Most profit statements are fake, you still have to do due diligence on your part to not be taken. Its a shame that there are scammers out there.

Someone should make a fake website with fake screenshots to show people how dumb they are for even believing a word they say.

There are genuine teachers and info-sellers out there. Someone who makes a lot of money using a particular strategy in a particular niche can share that with others. Let's say they make $200,000 a year from their business mode, but managing that business takes 30 hours a week.

They may create an eBook describing what they did so people can do it in other niches, and make another $100,000/yr selling that information. Their business is not threatened as they are already so established in their own niche and might have left out a couple of bits of sensitive info.

The people who purchase the eBook benefit from useful and insightful information that they may have otherwise missed or have had to research or learn from experience, the small amount they spend on the eBook helps them make a lot more money when they put that into action.

The seller and buyer both benefit - that's how it should be.

Bear in mind some of the info-product launches in the past couple of years have made millions in profits from a single launch. There's big money in teaching and providing information - that's why the scammers target it, but also legitimate and honest business people do to. The scammers just give them a bad name.

If you are buying a business and the only thing you are going by is a screen shot of a paypal account, or any bank account - its your own fault if you get screwed.

If someone is selling REAL BUSINESS (like some portal etc.) than it's possible to verify from online sources how long it exist, how many visitors it have and so on. This way you can foresee can it be profitable or not.

When someone is selling another e-book how earn $$$$$ in few days/minutes you can have sure it's just another report about using CPA networks etc. Why anyone would sell his profitable methodes for few bucks if he could use them by himself and make all those $$$ he is promising that you will earn (when you buy his e-book)?

People should not ask for proof of income as you can easily tell that many are faking it, so its best to see if anyone has actually made money and take a risk from there or check feedbacks etc.
