I really like the Genesis Framework by Studiopress. There are a bunch of really good child themes and if you buy a pro package you get access to all of the child themes. The support is amazing and there are tons of video tutorials (specific to each child theme) so getting up to speed is easy-easy.

 

Thesis is highly recommended as it is SEO friendly, easy to use and you can change the look and feel of your whole site whenever you wish.

 

Though much more than just a wordpress, I'd have to go with Thesis - you get a solid foundation for your blog or website and you can get by with little knowledge or continue using it as you grow in knowledge about html, css and php etc.

 

Even I'm a huge fan of thesis theme in WP, thanks for showing your interest in this thread.

I currently use eVid from ElegantThemes.com and it is perfect for the blog I have. All of their themes are beautiful.

 

+1 for thesis and +1 for EleganThemes they offer wonderful designs

 

I like thesis theme that is too much customizable.

 

The new Socrates theme is really nice. It is very versatile and STUPID SIMPLE to use for affiliate marketing.

I prefer the arras theme - very manageable and great support for a free theme

 

Hybrid News is superb. It's free but premium quality, SEO optimized and fantasic support.

 

I like the themes from ElegantThemes.
