As a merchant, we have used Moneybookers for several years without any problems. I remember it took a while to get approved. We had to send a lot of information about our Company (US based) to gain approval and their response time is poor. Filesonic might not be a legal business to gain approval. Just meaning that perhaps it is just an individual without a business license. There are two disadvantages to Moneybookers from a merchant perspective:
1) They are expensive;
2) They seem to always give you the run-around when you try to withdrawal money from your account.

I was chatting with a mate online about this issue today and he mentioned there are services to transfer money between PayPal and sites like Moneybrokers/AlertPay. I haven't screened them myself but thought I'd pass them along in case anyone wanted to review them while waiting for FileSonic to find another PayPal alternative.

That doesn't work for most people.
In some countries you can NOT open PayPal account. In my county and many others you can open an account but you can NOT withdraw money.

My friend open a PayPal account in different country and he connected his account to one of those services. After he received first payout to his paypal account money was blocked because it was accessed from an IP address which is not in that country. They asked him to provide proof that he lives in that country.

I have problems with Ftp to. It's ok for some files, but for others they never get to the file manager, they just disappear.

Nope. They stopped doing this at least a month ago. Sucks if you ask me.

 

I did not realize that. I had thought the problem was only getting the money out of PayPal if you lived in certain places outside the US and Canada. Thanks for the info.

Noticing a similar problem with more and more of my links from "sharingmatrix". I haven't seen a response from FileSonic yet. Have you guys tracked down this problem? Thanks.

 

15 $ have been deducted from my account as a sale refund
but when the sale was made i was on Pay per download and i haven't got any earnings for that sale then why u have deducted 15$ from my account if the sale has got refunded

Yesterday ftp was unavailable and/or with lots of errors, but today everything seems to be fine.

I have request to the support. Could you make one more folder called "Removed files" like in competition?
If you're going to do that, try to make it better. Put the files each day separately in a folder with date in name.

 

Exactly. FS support, how goes the work of repairing the notifications about deleted files? It's very important for us

 

I remember that I read (on this board) that FS intends to integrate the notifications in the file manager. A bit like it is done in Fileserve and Filefactory (and others).
To me it is also very important because every evening I spend quite some time to check manually the links I posted.
