Thought I would put this up for the benefit of all. They must be used well and with respect or they will not work at all. Once your article has been published, copy the url and head over to Yahoo Answers and open an account if you don’t have one, it’s free. Trick 1 1. Find a category of questions that are relative to your article 2. Do not post an answer to any questions on the first page. Instead go to page 2 and search for an answer there. You preferably want an answer around 2 hrs old. After it’s 2 hours old the overzealous moderators who sit there all day eating twinkies and banning marketers have moved on to where all the new action is, the NEW questions. 3. Find a good question and give the best answer you can. Stroke the personality of the person that has asked the question, make them feel good. People always generally pick an answer as a favorite if it A, answers their question and B, makes them look good or intelligent. 4. At the end of your answer leave the link to your article in the resource box below your answer. This will also get your articles indexed very quickly with Yahoo. Trick 2 – This one can generate more than 100 clicks per hour if you do it right ! 1. Go to about.com and open an account, it is free as well 2. Find a subject relating to your niche 3. Put up a VERY CATCHY post in that section with a text link to your articles url (your keyword) in your post. The better your article is the more clicks you will get as it can get voted up. Great for getting noticed. The better the quality of your posts and answers the better you will do with this. Too many people go running in and spam these places openly. If you treat them nice they can send you a mountain of traffic.
this is a great method for those who have the time also I see you have been all over in "related" forums for your service in your signature. i encourage you to put it in services for sale section, as well as give a review or to out to a couple people here. You could get a lot of business from DP if it is legitimate also if i see it works, i will refer you to some of SEO guys I know that are constantly doing AM
Thanks for that business coach, always good to be pointed in the right direction mate. Yes it is for real, should have put it together ages ago but just been busy with other projects. (+ 4 kids, lol) I would be more than happy to give you a test run if you want to fire me a recent EZA url. Gotta make a name for myself somehow
happy to do a review for you, let me submit a new article to them so that it has no other influences and see what you can do, i will PM you the link once they approve it...should only take a day or two Meantime Post in the Buy Sell Trade section!
I've been doing this for a long time and I get a lot of traffic from it plus add a little tweak in it....
Nice way but not short term method of getting traffic if we say that we will get qualified traffic as well.
I've had siilar results doing some niche keyword research and then posting a Hub on HubPages. They rank very well with no SEO. As for Yahoo Answers, I've never had much luck with them. The recent influx of marketers who hire people to go and flag answers is pretty much killing Yahoo answers little by little. I used to get a little traffic from posting there now it's one or two click is I'm lucky, or my answer isn't flagged.
Definitely will give both of these a try! Sounds fantastic to get yourself out there. Thanks for sharing.
Very nice tips ! I am really interested in trick 2 with using about.com to get traffic. I will try it, thank you for sharing
Don't you have to be hired by About to write for them these days? A while back I had planned on writing some articles for them but I didn't want to go through with the whole application process and having to produce a specified number of articles per month.
Interesting technique, the moderators in Yahoo Answers are extremely zealous, and once your account is banned they won't reconsider
Great tips William. I also checked your website and am quiet interested in your service. Bookmarked your site and will make sure to place an order once I get back from my trip. Cheers, Astrit
This is a good sense of you. I have never tried this. Now i am little bit more expert in SEO or marketing. Thank you.
