Seoranksmart terrible company - do not use them

I signed a contract with Seoranksmart.com to get a page on my site to a certain position in google.

I paid them half the money up front and they started work.

They then voided the contract after they realised it was too much work for them and said they wouldn't continue the project or give me back my money.

They said that if I pay the second half of the money they would give me some more links but not complete the contract. There is no way I am doing that because 1) they could just run off with all my money and 2) they are not completing the contract.

So they still have half my money and won't complete the work.

They seem nice at first but when things are not going their way they will not help you out at all. This is a warning to anyone thinking they might use them - don't.

Thanks for the warning, myself I prefer to go with something more solid when using thrid party companies, the problem with paying to get to #1 is that there are far too many variables to play with, I really don't see how any company can give a fixed price to achieve that.

As an SEO Company we very well know that no company can give guarantee to achieve number one rank in Google. We made more than promised link to the client but he was not satisfied. And now when we refused to sign on any guarantee paper he is furious. Even now we are offering to work for him but he wants gurantee from him. A learned SEO will never take s step like that. Now he is posting reviews not to make others aware but he is asking for his money back. he says if we want him to stop writing bad reviews about our company then we should give him money. But we have provided him more number of links then we promised.

    Hello fadetoblack22,
I can truly understand what you have been going through but i personally feel that publicly posting such bad reeviwes can really give a negative impact to you and the concerned company also./

If this is honestly the case, take him to court for libel and blackmail. He can't go around damaging your reputation if you completed the agreed upon work. And he can't demand his money back or else he'll keep writing falsely negative reviews.

It's not the case. We signed a contract and they won't complete it, keeping the 50% payment I made. They want to change what is stated in the contract which is just not on.

I think that it's best to settle this out of the forums. I agree with Philoon, but it seems that both of you can go to court, whoever is telling the truth.

Just the same, thanks fadetoblack22, it just goes to show that not all SEO companies are to be trusted. It goes with other companies too, not just this one.

Alright 2 questions for you. 1 how much money you paid (first 50%) . how long would the contract suppose to last. why did you even used a company. and lastly if they promissed you a certain position in google how didnt that already turn a red light in your head? companies that promise a position in google are automatically a fraud and trying to scam clients.

it was over $1000. there was no specific time length. It didn't turn on a red light because I made a contract with them so that they would continue working until they got there.

If what SMARTSEORANK said was true, they're still willing to offer work for you. Isn't this so that they will continue working for you until you get there? Seems to me that you're asking a bit too much.

Then again, I wouldn't really know which of you is telling the truth and both sides should be better off taking this to court.

They are only willing to work if I pay the full amount and do it on a different contract to the initial one. That 1) leaves them with all the money so they can run off at any time. 2) leaves me with a project that I don't want.
I want what I originally paid for.

sorry to tell you this but 90% you cant return your money, coz they did some job, you will spend much time on trying to change the situation but i think that...
but if there are much money...let them finish all they can.

I'm assuming that you are a part of the company this guy is talking about. Only IF what you say is true then simply take this to court, sue him with blackmailing.

If you want me to make all contracts and emails public I will. For your information I am trying to get this thread deleted because it is coming up for the company name in google. I may be disappointed in the service, but I don't want to harm the company.

You really should have thought of that before you considered posting a thread telling everyone not to use their service. You've already damaged their company because I'm sure numerous people have seen this thread and decided to try their luck elsewhere.

    Couple of thoughts...

-1- If an SEO can't get their own company name to outrank a mention in a single DP thread, no matter how much money you give them they wouldn't be able to do whatever it is you're asking.

-2- Hard to believe a member since '07 is just now discovering that DP threads get rapidly indexed by Google. Careful what you say, cause if every claim you've made isnt 100% true, God might have mercy on your soul but a judge wouldnt.
