How to submit Yahoo sitemap ?

How and where can I submit my site map xml file to yahoo ?

 

yahoo accept urllist.txt as a sitemap in which you have to list all of your site pages like
yoursite/page1
yoursite/page2
yoursite/page3

and save it and name it urllist.txt and then submit it to yahoo using siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com.

well you can use sitemap.xml file too but i don't think it would help cause i'm still waiting for my site to be indexed by using sitemap.xml but got no luck ... so try simple urllist.txt

 

Yahoo accepts all 3 feeds: urllist.txt, sitemap.xml, and RSS.

All these feeds are working fine with my yahoo webmaster account.

 

i havent submit sitemap in yahoo yet but yahoo webmaster tool help i think now.

 

To add your any of sitemaps (urllist.txt, sitemap.xml, and RSS) use siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com. Write your site url and click the button "Add my site".
Then after veryfy your account by uploading file provided in authentication section.

Then after you will get link "feed" in left navigation. Just submit your sitemaps on "feed" submission page.

Then you are done with yahoo wemaster tool.

I have one web site how can I build RSS site map for my site ? is there any free tools to generate it ??

 

Go to yahoo site explorer through the link given by above user and submit your xml sitemap there.

 

simply make xml site map with the help of xml-sitemaps.com this tool. It make urllist.txt site and after that upload it on site root.

 

yeah urllist contains all the text links of the site and generated by ROR sitemap.
