Are you sure Rome ? That's not what was said earlier - have I missed a policy change in the last day or so ?

Rome is stating our unofficial policy which I've outlined earlier. If your file is receiving downloads, it will not necessarily get deleted. The OFFICIAL policy stands, because we can't guarantee the 30 day reset at this point.

We will be reformulating a new policy soon that is more favorable to affiliates, but we wanted to make ourselves clear on how things stand right now.

In firefox and chrome it's now just looping on capcha - I fill in capcha and click ok - it says
I click 'cancel previous download' - capcha appears again - I fill it in - counter counts down 30 secs - capcha re-appears - I fill it in - the whole thing repeats infinitely.
Just to be clear I don't have any downloads running at all - from filesonic or otherwise.

Curiously I've just been doing a pretty exhaustive search of my own isp's forums (actually 3 isp's in fact) - can't find a single thread or post anywhere about filesonic or indeed any other host being blocked. The closest thing I could find was some stuff about a dns problem with megaupload. I might try using googles dns servers - might be fun :)

@Filesonic IT - you didnt answer my question so Im asking again - why I cant remote upload via "user: pass@ftp..." form? This is scandalous... you are the only hosting that doesnt support it... is it a joke?

Dont write about ftp cause Im not stupid to upload exclusively on your ftp when Im not able to distribute a file from it on other hostings via remote without premium.

Im waiting for a reliable answer, or better said - when will it be fixed? I cant believe you cant remote with pass from ftp lol...

This is not a problem, and there is nothing to be 'fixed'. Our RU module does web (HTTP) and share2share uploads. For FTP, you must use the FTP module. Plain and simple. We might implement an RU/FTP hybrid later, but this is not part of the core RU functionality of our site.

When asked this question in the past, FS-IT has indicated they would prefer ftp:// uploads to be done via FTP upload rather than remote upload which they would like to reserve for http:// traffic. I'm not sure as to the why, you'll have to wait for an official FSn response for that.

Edit: Oops. Didn't mean to step on your answer FS-IT. Did not realize you had responded as I was typing.

The paypal page is .hk as the owners are from .hk hence the .hk IP on the main site. (I still find it weird that site is hosted in .nl , with .hk IP and the file servers are in .us)

I am having trouble with FTP, keep getting:

Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server"

Is this just a problem on my end? Anyone else having trouble?
