I though you where British BRUm . Anyway the US had quite a talent for printing out billion after billion . AFAIK atm there are about 10 trillions in circulation , so they might have some skeletons .
I'm not British, I'm English My fellow countrymen are largely beyond the point of no return, meaning that involving myself in English politics is quite pointless, so I take more interest in America - where more people naturally and historically have an greater understanding and want of freedom. It can be very lonely and depressing being part of such a tiny minority. People here think they're educated because they engage in petty "debates" concerning which groups are more entitled to the result of government control; never addressing the question of control itself, if you know what I mean? For example, you have the Tories on one hand and Labour on the other, debating and justifying the extent of public spending or cuts on the NHS, completely missing the question of whether we should even have a socialised health system at all. The same goes for the ridiculous welfare system.
Political debates sum up to something like : Who will take the least amount of money from our wallets ? I always considered the British political and legal system quite interesting . Behind the usual propaganda bull (word to blind the minds of the voters) you guys have one of the most efficient forms of government .
Most efficient? That depends on what your idea of efficient is. Efficient as in ignoring electorate wishes and acting in self interest?
