    Exactly the same thing here.
Approx 10% increase in traffic from google.. ( for the last three days)
but no change in PR. ( =4 currently)

Question, I lost most if not all my traffic from google after this last update or whatever you wanna call it. Is it best practice to wait a few more days before trying to make adjustments to the site? Im really just trying to get a sense of how others are handling the immediate loss of traffic.

You should wait a few weeks longer maybe it becomes normal again.

Conclusion: never put all your eggs into the same basket -> never aim for search engine traffic alone

Post the page... even if they did there is too much research that proves it doesn't. But if you are interested I would be willing to sell you a PR7 site I will create from scratch for you for a good sum:D
PR is easy to get rankings aren't. If PR effected rankings my blog would be suffering yet it produces way more traffic than my two PR6-7 sites which have been around longer. It also produces good adsense money.

Don't tell me pagerank effects rankings. There is absolutely no way it could.

Thanks, My site is very new... as am I (to this whole thing). I had already started other marketing processes before this whole thing happened, im just speeding up the completion of those processes now. Thanks for the response, these are the things that are difficult to gleem from the forums without asking.

In the last month my site grew in following sequence,

    first Indexed
    Then on 50th page
    Then 30 and so on..
    then on 2nd

But now I dont find even on 100th page with the specific keyword.
It seems I am gone, even though I got backlinks update and no PR:(

New sites are effected the most because they are not established of course and the link structure will not be very good. You need to build importance to your site by getting quality links.

PR is the primary parameter in SERPS. However the toolbar PR is just an export from the live PR that is already used in the serps. So an update of the PR doesn't change the serps. toolbar PR is just a snapshot of the live PR.

There has been shifts in the serps due to data push with this PR export but not due to it. I experienced this with my site. I recovered all the traffic I lost on june 27th.

Don't do adjustments because of this, just try to improve and change only those thing you know may harm you.

You are sandboxed, nothing to do with PR

I've actually been getting more traffic from Google lately.

Try submitting an XML sitemap to Google and get all your pages indexed then remember to 'rebuild' your sitemap all the time

all new sites show for about 1 month or so and then disappear for few months then go back to serps they deserve depending on various parameters. quality backlinks help shorten the sandboxing period.

I also have way better results on that ip, I do have good results on the other datacenters , BUT I do agree they all look better there...

I wonder if that is old....or this will be the same as the others soon...
