Before I go any further have to thank you guys, have read so much and certainly learnt alot. Back to the subject. Went from $450 for August to just under $900 for September. Have done nothing illegal just alot of hard work. I do have several sites, but a couple of them do not pay much, not yet anyway. Have two sections of one site which always perform well and therefore focus on them more. Will it double again next month? Probably not, but I am aiming for the $1,000 Let you know what happens. John
Really just following the tips that I have read here on the forums. Content, blending ads and traffic. No great secret, just adding content on a regular basis. John

IMO the key to success are keywords.. some have more treffic from SEs, some less... Only new content isn't enough.. You need to add more Back Links with good anchor's to Your sities to go up in SERP's and in this way to get more traffic Mark

Sounds good. I have also doubled my Adsense although it has been in about 4 months. I've used Adsense for three years now and the last two months were pushing $700 each so I'm hoping to break $1000 soon, too.
yep, this forum is a great place to go to learn how to make quality websites. It's funny that's really what you are doing. Adsense just forces you to make your site as good as you can. then more people come and more people click
Correcto! Not just content but valuable content. Blah Blah Blah Blah - this is content. Nokia Ericsson Sony Motorola - this is content. Ringtones this, ringtones that - this is content. When users read any of the above - if your site has blah blah or something similar to blah blah - you are guaranteed not to get much clicks on your ads. You need niche and then unique content in that area. Once you have this, get tons of BLs - best way is to write articles and get BLs. How many tons of BLs you need to get - research your KW competition and you will find the answer.

I too doubled my adsense earnings for one of my sites. I am surprised changing the placement of the ads had such an affect.
So true, I enjoyed my websites before using adsense however since I added adsense I am a lot more careful with the layout and look of the site.
Have been very happy with the outcome. The money that we get through adsense is our "funding" to run a community organisation, without it we probably would not be around. Certainly has been, but we are now seeing the rewards. That is quite true. Different areas of the site have different ads in different locations. Started off with having as many ads as possible, but that really did not seem to work in some areas. It has been a case of experimenting, but also focusing on the needs of our visitors. By that I mean, if I just focused on one keyword, would not be making the same amount of money. Looked at what information visitors were coming to the site for and where possible added more information on that subject. John
