I have 2 blogs going at the moment. I launched both about a month ago...

    Assuming I have been:

Submitting Articles with targeted keywords to article directories
Creating backlinks with anchor text on forums and blogs
    Continuing to create original content
Focusing on low competition keywords with 1000+ searches a month
And slowly and subtley spreading the word

I am not spamming and try to keep the links I create as natural and organic looking as possible...

How long does it usually take to see an increase in visitors? Increase in page rank per keyword?

Right now, I am hovering around a measely 20 visitors a day about 5 or 6 unique visitors a day...(and some of them have been from sites like this)

I know this is a very general question and very tough to answer but when should I start seeing results? When will I make some progress?

I am not discouraged or anything like that, I know it takes months, even years...but I feel like I am either missing something or doing something wrong...

One of my site starts from 20 to 50 visit per day, now we getting 800 to 3,000 per day. We even get over 9,000 in one day. All this in 11 month.
Just keep working, keep posting and keep working.
My goal use to be 100, then 250 per day then 300 per day, then 1,000 per day...My new goal now is 20,000 to 50,000 per day.

Each blog post is an investment...you never know which post will propel your site...Try get into Google news, we did.

Every so often we post a blog post that becomes popular in Google news...20 or 50 high PR site will grab it, repost it and give us a link back...

New blogs will take time to get UV.

Try to keep posting new contents more frequently to your blog.

You will never know where your site is ranking in SERP.

There are some unique weird keywords that might get good search volume and have low or zero competition in any niche that helps bloggers like us.

The more content you post on your blog, the higher chance of it getting more UV.

When you post a new article in your blog then ping it to other blog sites. There are some blog sites which give ping service in free. Try to get more backlinks.
