Wow, United States and China are both in the UN, why would they attack each other? Jeez, besides, China has a much stronger military power, United States just has a higher level of technology but every large country is claimed to have a few hundred atomic bombs. No one would attack anyone without the rise of a third world war. Get your facts strait Paul. Besides, China is an important factor for economic trade, if they didn't send us products, US would be in the sewers. China has also increased in technological advance after developing a miniature black hole. In a few days! Hah! They wont dare, not even in a few years could they conquer.
Anyways, Back on topic, Google is just trying to become the most influenced company, much like what Microsoft or Apple is doing. I believe that it is those that control the resources of the world who will end up with the final say and become dominant
I think that Google is just a technological giant of our days. These machines are powerful and at the same time fragile. It takes a huge will and wit to keep it flowing and whenever the people like Sergey Brin decide to change their directives and start something new ergo giving Google away to some apprentices, those new guys can either carry on and develop it, or destroy it. I don't think Google is an evil empire for people who are not afraid of being prosecuted
Google is already the most popular in most countries (except China, Russia, Czech and may be some other). Their services is very useful, but do not have commercial success. The most of google's income is money from adword and adsence. Will see how long they stay afloat on theese money.
hahaha, I would NOT AT ALL agree with most of them here, as the BIG G, google could not manipulate or get their hands on the people where I come from Yes and that is China. Still all the services from google, like blogspot, youtube or even facebook sites are banned in china.
And they failed in Russia Google really makes our internet serfing better. And if they continue to provide valuable services, their global power will grow.
