I have problems with my current hosting provider Mirimar...I need urgent a reliable dedicated server with support (mirimar has no phone support!) that has a good reputation. I have checked some posts here about hosting companies and many are bad.

Wich one do you recommend with a good price?

A good managed web host we've used is webcs.com (WEBster Computing Service is their full name). I needed a custom server.

They have really good support from how long we've used them and this cool pager thingie which if you have an outage or emergency or something you can literally buzz the server room in REAL TIME with your problem form the net or the telephone. I love that. Esp at 3am when everything seems to go wrong.

Did you need management or unmanagement?

With a server, all websites will have the same IP, right?

Not always. You get a block of IPs and you allocate them as you like.

A good managed VPS I've used is www.rackforce.com They have very good support.

I also would like to recommend to be careful with hosting review sites as such there are a lot of comments just posted by other hosting company's to give a bad rep to some great hosts.

Talking about VPS I have to mention Servint. Good support. Starts from $49 a month.

Hostgator.com has worked well for me for over 2 years now. I get 6500+ uniques per day on a Celeron server (I know, I know, don't tell me!) and have 100% uptime.

hey it all depends on your need. What is your need? do you manage your server and are you a hardware expert? How many sites would you host? do you want to use it for hosting business or to host your site? do you need physical access to the server?

Please analyze the above and you will be the best judge :D
