Auto bookmarking bad?

    Hi I am using a auto bookmarking service that submit my content to 30 different bookmarking sites. Is this bad if your site is fairly new? can I get punished by google?

    Don't auto submit every pages of your new baby. Get some strong backlinks from authority sites first. Then contribute some copyscape passed articles, spin them and submit to article directories and write a few press release. You can search for starter pack in buy and sell section of this forum.

    Onlywire is a great tool to submit url to 42 social bookmarking sites with a single click. Personally, i use onlywire to bookmark my backlinks, not my site's url. Onlywire updated the price list few week ago, $10/1000 submission. Few months ago, $3/month, unlimited submissions.

    not very useful. Just the main big sites will bring you sometime, (not PR, most of them are nofollow.)

    but better than nothing

    There should not be a problem auto bookmarking if you are not doing constant posts I don't think. Although you probably wont get punished for it there is always a chance, so manual submission is best.

    Some of the important sites have a way of getting content to them automatically through Google API like Digg from your Feed-burner.

    Auto Bookmarking is bad because bookmarking site can mark the IP address and Account as spam and you will loose your accounts and past bookmarks.

    Automatic submission is not so effective for website promotion. In organic seo manual promotional activity is more helpful in getting results for targeted keywords.

    Make sure that you auto-bookmarks will be postet in you own accounts. If they will be postet in some tool accounts there is a lot bad neighborhood.

    Make sure that your accounts do not have the same links in it. Just use 80% of you account for a new site and use some other account for the nexte site you want to submit.

    Make sure you don not put to much bookmarks on one site at one moment. 5-15 bookmarks a day will be ok.

    I use bookamrk account from others to see wich other sites they optimize. If you do not want someone to do that, make sure you get a new bookmark account for a new site.

    If you follow these Rules it should be ok if you automate the process.
