Im sure there are quite a few of us here who are making money by blogging.

What is the highest you have made on a single day?

Mine is $18 from 6 blogs

Haven't had any luck making money from mine but I'm not really worried about it...

wow, a PR 5blog sounds great. But blogging otherwise seems to be a week revenue earner...

Don't border too much if it is your initial stage. Just keep up want you have done so far and don't give up. Readers will come as time goes.

i think they earn a couple of hundred thousand a month...

Some points to note:
1) I've been blogging for about a month
2) I am relying solely on affiliate mktg. in addition to clickbank, i have another $650 or so from webhosting commissions. (you do know they pay $50-$100 per referral, right).
3) Google Adsense and other web ads only come into major play with about 10,000 visitors/day.

Back to blogging for a moment.
I own content sites at www.InternetMarketingCookbook.com and BizExcellerator.com, but nothing generates the crazy money like blogging does for me.

it really depends whether you have a solid strategy for achieving your goals.

Bear in mind a few points though.
You do know that 1 affiliate sale = 1,000 to 2,000 adsense clickthroughs, right?

You'd likely need 100 visitors to generate 1 clickthrough. so 1,000 clickthroughs is like 100,000 visitors????

I get about 2,000 unique visitors to my blog a month.
assuming i really suck and only 1% buy something, I get 20 sales.
assuming $50 per sale, that's already $1,000 per month.

the thing is though, my conversions are closer to the 5% mark, so you do the math.

I think it has been shown that with the right niche and the right marketing you can make money from your blog. I was wondering if anyone makes good money from their personal blogs?

 

I made 120$ from my blog this month by a few types of ideas

Not my recent blog, it's an other one.

 

there's this girl in singapore, who's at xiaxue.blogspot.com who blogs about personal stuff.

she makes a comfortable 5 figure income from blogging every month.

she was voted top asian blogger etc too.

 

I personally make about $18 month from blogging. You can make money from blogging but it’s dam hard and requires a lot of dedication.

if you do paid posting, $15-$50 per day is very achievable, that works out to $450 to $1500 per month, just doing paid posting alone?

when you factor in the additional traffic and revenue from adsense and affiliate marketing, it really is not difficult to hit $3,000 upwards.

I'm already doing it.

the major issue is a mental barrier.
as you confident that you can make it?

cos sometimes i know bloggers who have this idea that making money from blogging is hard, or it 'spoils' their blogging.
i'm not sure how these ideas originate.

I'd rather not give out specific amounts earnt per month, but last week I earnt $650 for 12 month ad on one of my blogs. Your not going to make loads of $$s if you are sticking to one or two ways to monetize your blog. Adding Google Adsense is just one of the many ways you can earn an income from your blog.

I would prefer to write my own unique content then to earn a measly $10 here and there to blog about a product or service - for someone starting out in blogging though sites like TLA, PayPerPost etc. are a good way to start earning an income.

 

These are very good ways of making money but in my case I just can’t be bothered to join such sites to make money. I think there are other positive aspects in blogging either than just making money and these days I rather blog about things that I like and enjoy.

 

In my case, I have found Blogads to be by far the most effective revenue generator for my blog. I just set them in place, and approve the ads as they come in. Of course, you need to build up your traffic to make them work, but once you get decent traffic, they are wonderful.

 

Don't put all your chickens in one basket.
