Pagerank 0 on my domain

    Hello,

I've purchased a domain early this year. After 7 months, my pagerank is still zero. I'm not sure what happened but i'm quite sure i did not break any of google's guidelines.

What could be the possible problem?
    The domain is "calvinsays.com".

    Thanks! :)

Besides your lack of links, there has not been a toolbar pagerank update for almost 7 months (since April).

so that may be one of the reasons for a pagerank of 0?

It is quite possible that your domain has got PR, but it is just that Google has not updated the toolbar PR since April 2nd. (> 6 months)

Lots of others are waiting as well.

Not sure if those 'future PR' tools still work or not, but give it a shot: iwebtool.com/pagerank_prediction

If you want a Pagerank for your site, then build backlinks from high PR sites and on next PR update, your site will surely get Pagerank.

The domain name did not have PR because there is no backlink for the blog, you need to build backlink for the blog in other to have PR when Google update PR.

As there is no major PR update from 5 months, there were 3 minor updates so probably PR major update will happen in next month[November].

Just keep in mind that Google Page rank has nothing to do with your SEO keyword SE positioning so I wouldnt pay too much attention to it. On the other hand, if I wantd a backlink from you, I would want you to have a high PR ranking as your backlink would be worth more!

Well, you need to build backlinks for that site to improve its PR. It's an old domain, but it doesn't mean that it can instantly get a good PR.
