it doesnt have anything to do with adding new pages. google had a PR change recently and you must have lost your PR backlinks sometimes before the PR update was going
According to Google page-rank algorithm your obl not more than 30 links on your page, so may be you have added more out bound links from index page,i suggest you to make maximum 3 way and one way links rather making 2 ways links for your site..
Yes its only occurs due to PR change.... Doesn't matter how much pages you have added to your site. Just see your back links and try to make some quality back links from high PR sites. Hope you will get good PR soon. Good Luck!!
Make sure you have less Outbond links (OBL) than Inlinks from your pages. To prevent OBL you can use nofollow tags in every out links.
Why do people post absolutely WORTHLESS posts like this? A mod should ban this guy IMO. Ever post by them so far has been total crap.j @OP As sultanofseo said, you've lost some back links more than likely since PR is a measure of link popularity. Perhaps some pages previously linking to your URL dropped the links. Other URLs that were linking to you may have been deindexed which will also cause you to lose credit for a link. @funzone The PR of URL X has absolutely NOTHING to do with the number of outbound links on URL X. The number of outbound links on URL X only affects how much PR gets passed out of URL X to each of URL X's outbound links, but the PR of URL X is ONLY a function of the inbound links pointing to URL X. As an aside, Google has never recommended that you limit OBLs to 30... They have recommended 100 for years since the days when they only indexed the first 100k of a page and about the first 100 links from the HTML. 100 is still a good recommendation, but it is just that. You can have 500-1000 links on your page and Google can still follow all of them to discover other pages on your site and pass PR. But you're diluting your link equity/page rank so much by doing so that it's just a bad idea.
I should agree that sometimes due to PR change, some might lost the site's PR and it not connected to adding new pages. Don't worry too much about PR because it mean not that much unless if your looking for selling links.
I think you have made the changes on the site during the PR update that's why Google treated your site in working mode you will get back your PR in next Google update.
If your website PR has down that means you have lost some quality back links of your website or the quality of your back links have down due to some reasons. Check your back links.
adding new pages dosent have to do anything with your index page rankings. maybe google updated their algorithm and you didnt update your site or build quality backlinks for it that is why you loose your page rank.
I think there is no effect in your site page rank adding new page. You should check you Quality Back link, may be they have removed your site.
