    Hi;
This is a battle of the fonts. Basically whoever finds the one best suited to my logo is going to win the contest.

    LOGO NAME

    Exercross

    TAGLINE

    A new dimension in fitness

    NATURE OF BUSINESS:
Imagine puzzle solving crossed with adventure racing(swimming, running.climbing)

    DESIGN BRIEF
Use a font(probably sans serif)that gives a sense of movement. This will probably be achieved by slanting text.
The main colour, of the logo, will be gold or silver.
You can apply a simple effect, to the logo, if you want, but this must be done using a vector programme such as Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape.

    FILE FORMATS
The winning design must supplied as a editable vector file, and in a file format suitable for the web such as png format .

    WORK FOR HIRE
In return for payment the winner, of this contest, will relinquish all rights to the logo I select as the winner. The winner must also tell me the name of the font he uses.

FEEDBACK; I will leave feed back for you except if your entry is beyond help. Also I'm in Australia so feedback might be a bit slow because of the time difference from some designers

    PAYMENT: Paypal only.

CONTEST ENDS 48 hrs from now

If you have any questions please ask

    Good luck everybody
    Cheers Don

    Hi Pamugasay

Thanks for the entry. You are on the right track but that font is hard to read. Maybe you could try kerning, putting a bit of white space between the letters. Also The tag line definitely needs to be in a different font as the only reason I know the last word is "fitness" is because I created the tagline:) Anyway thanks for entering and look forward to seeing any changes you make.

    Cheers Don

P.S. sorry I didn't reply directly to your entry it's just I accidentally hit quick reply

I like the third one. The font is much easier to read than your first attempt and yet still has a sense of movement from being slanted. The tagline is also much better. There are a couple of improvements I think you could make, like improving the kerning, but let me do a bit of research first so I don't waste your time getting you to make uneccesary changes. Thanks again

    Cheers Don

What I like is: A good colour combo, the slant in the font, easy to read

What could be improved: the font used to spell "Exercross" is a bit boring, common looking, it should be a bit chunkier, muscular looking too.

    Thanks for your entry
    Cheers Don

    HI,

Thanks for your entry, it looks good but the font lacks dynamism.

In a lot of ways the style of font you have used is what I'm looking for. It's unique , muscular looking but, it lacks a sense of movement and that sense of movement is critical.

First, thanks for your entries, they are much appreciated. The first logo's main font is too muscular it reminds me of "Ben" from the fantastic four. While the second logo's font is a bit to skinny, however I do like it's sense of movement.

    Hi

Your second logo is very good, very professional. However I feel like a bit of a hypocrite because I told everyone to use a chunky font and your design which uses skinny letters is my favourite. Oh well all I can say in my defense is I guess that's why I'm running a contest and not entering contests...

    Hi,

I really like that font,I also like the way the bar behind the tagline only comes partway down. The thing you could work on now is the colours. If you get those right you have a realistic chance of winning.

    Hi Brain surgeon,

That's a much better font, but you need to work on the colours as they don't go together very well. Thanks again for your entry.
