    I think this is far from true, no letter can be removed from the English Alphabet. It will cause a lots of problem.

    This is a true story... But in English Language consist many words of "z", without Z how shall we pronounced or read the words? It will very difficult for us.. So z removed from English Language is a foolish step...

    Well, in that case, we can use letter "J" instead of "Z". It makes sense to me though - Zoo = Joo, Zebra = Jebra
    with a slight change in pronunciation, and i am pretty sure that it is just a rumor.
