    Lets see, Liberals: 31.2 + 19.5 = 50.7

    Tea Party: Rubio = 41.7

Really O...nation, I believe liberals have it locked up - 50.7 is higher than 41.7 for most people but your being a Republican might explain that as well......and shouldn't the Numbers add up to 100 (41.7 + 50.7 = 92.4), oh, of course those are TP Republican numbers so who's worried about the actual outcome?

Gee you are right! So is Meek going to represent Florida on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Crist on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, or have they worked something else out? Since Crist used to be a Republican but holds 31.2% of the vote, does that mean that Florida will get 60% conservative votes and 40% liberal votes? Explain it to me man! FYI, Meek is running on ObamaCare. Not the sharpest tool in the shed eh?

Breeze Wood, I noticed that no one on this thread agrees with you. I want the hundreds reading this thread to ask themselves why.

The economy lost 95,000 jobs in September.

Also, Bloomberg News just reported that government payouts now account for a record 20% of American's after-tax income. That includes unemployment, food stamps, welfare, and other government assistance to the needy.

This will be known as Obama's Depression.

But Corwin, Breeze says the unemployment report today would be proof positive that the Democrats have set this country right after the "pub recession"(is that when pubs have less patrons?). I guess 9.6% unemployment, real unemployment climbing to around %17.6, under employment at around 20%, gold climbing to 1341.70 an an ounce, and oil hitting $82 a barrel was the good news we've been waiting for. All hail the Democrats.

In other news Jerry Brown was caught on tape calling his opponent in the California Governor's race, Meg Whitman a whore. To me, more interesting than what he called her, was the fact he used the name because Meg had cut a deal with the CA Police Officers Union to exempt their pensions from cuts in exchange for their endorsement. Looks like change is not coming for California, regardless of who we put in the Governor's mansion. I wonder if we can start the recall process before election day...

Blue Star, you are joking, are you not?

History repeats itself and they are seeing those who have caused the Great Recession blindly defend the indefensible without learning from their mistakes.

The meaningless Iraqi war is unforgivable no matter how many their no.s who needlessly waisted a nations heritage for political gain.

Breeze, that all doesn't make much sense to me, not that your posts ever do. I suppose it is that kind of logic that got us a "gifted" health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts themselves from it, to be signed by a president who also smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke. I'm starting to wonder if "Breeze Wood" isn't actually Nancy Pelosi using an alias to post on DP.

Note that Breeze thinks that the millions of people Saddam killed and slowly tortured are meaningless.

Remember This- you'll note from Breeze's posts that he cares nothing for the poor, noting for the unemployed, nothing for the lives Saddam Hussein destroyed. It's almost as if Breeze has no empathy, no feelings, no sympathy. Even a liberal admits to feeling compassion for the poor. What does this make Breeze?

And Breeze completely ignores all the damage Obama has done - he almost champions the hurt he's caused.

What is Breeze's real agenda, I wonder...?

Breeze, how old are you and what do you do for a living?

Your math is off... 9 and it looks like they have it and then some. Especially here in WI where we're finally gonna say goodbye to Fiengold.

BTW, breezy, while we are on the subject of math - make sure you temper those jobs numbers with the "NET JOBS LOSS" that goes along with it.

    Maybe this will help.

Let's say you are working at your fast food job and you make an extra $1 at your drawer. However, you lost $10 in another. Are you really up a buck? Or down 9?

Only important if you own the fast food joint, so Breezy isn't going to get that one Mia. I suspect his answers will be something like the following:

Inter-day market above 11,000, and this is October.........

The Republicans and their Great Recession have fallen a little short, thanks to the liberals. The recovery and ensuing period of sustained growth will be accountable for the enactments of the past two years is correct.
    .........

What you are is a reactionary with a hole in your drawer.
    .........

There were not enough liberals to make it perfect, but enough to have past the framework for an enduring legislation the Madam Speaker of the House will always be held in the highest of esteem for by all future generations.
    .........

Time is running short till Nov. 2nd but still enough for people of good character to realize the better of politics is what they already have than a reversal to the past.

And you're a punk kid with his head in the ground.

Let me make it simpler for you.

Let's say you get an A on your math test. The previous 5 were F's. Are you an A student?

Breeze, you keep banging on about the meaningless Iraq war without answering why Obama has done nothing to withdraw from it.

Everyones (on this thread) keeps complaining about how much Obama is spending but know one suggests a better way of coming out of a recession other than government spending, hell people even complain about interest rates being near zero.

Do you people suggest that all major banks, AIG, GM should have been allowed to bankrupt and close down throwing millions out of job? Is that what you wanted?

Another thing people fail to realize is that even though the debt is increasing the money is being used to acquire assets, that too at dirt cheap prices. I don't believe that Obama is just printing money and handing it out in Times Square, is he? Foreclosed property, shares in major companies and all other assets acquired are going to give an enormous return when the economy is booming again (for which you need to spend). Proceeds from sale of such assets will not only pay back the debts but will most probably also leave a surplus.
