I have a site www.themobileinfo.com, built weeks ago now how to get keyword ? I tried adwords tool but didn't understand the idea
Keywords are what your site is about - not something you bolt on afterwards. Make a list of about 10 things that your site is about. Then put those into a keyword tool to check if you are describing those things in the same terms most people use (e.g if your site is about 'vintage cars', do people use the term 'car', 'automobile', 'vehicle'. Do they look for 'vintage cars' 'old cars' 'wrecked cars'?
next time better do some keyword research before building the site. because it's essential for you to go on with content planning. But it's not too late, just need to search online there are tons of resources that you could find to get a clear understanding of what keyword research is about.
There's no better keyword tool than a real person. It's all about what real people are going to search for. You should be the best keyword tool for your site.
Completely wrong. You need to know what keywords the majority of people use around a theme. Not what you call things, or your friends and family think. What words most people use. There's no better tool than a few million real people.
Absolutely Right. If you really know your theme and you're not putting up some spammy mfa site, you will know what the relevant keywords are. The keywords that come from a piece of software can never replace that. For instance, if you use the Adwords keyword tool you will get a number of keywords that are irrelevant to your site. Keywords tools can be helpful but you can never replace the human element. So yes, use these tools but YOU are still the best tool. So to use the previous example, if you are doing a site about vintage cars, YOU will know people in the UK won't be searching vintage automobiles even if your keyword tool brings it up as an option.
Google keyword tool is the best tool for your site to have a corresponding keyword. The tool would suggest a keyword that would fit with your given niche. Once you have the list of suggested keywords, look at the advertiser competition and the global monthly search. You should select a keyword that has lower advertise competition but high global monthly searches.
This is the correct answer. Let the market tell you what keyword(s) they are using to find your site. Also, when typing into the Google search box, why not make a note of the terms Google Instant is recommending? The same applies at Bing/Yahoo. If they think those terms are relevant, then maybe you should as well.
You can use Google keywords tool for keyword research. Apart from finding the relevant keywords, the next step involves short listing a few keywords out of the list generated by the tool. After short listing the keywords, a few keywords should be finalized, depending on the keyword density required in that content.
you are doing right thing just choose those keywords which have more searches but not have more competition.
Google keyword tool could give some suggestion. Moreover, you could take one site in your niche and put into google keyword tool to see the keywords that Google says are associated with the site.
Just find Mobile related keywords in Google WordTracker and also Google Adwords Tool its gives you better suggestion for your site related keywords.
I agree with everyone else in that the site should be built after you have done your keyword research. However seeing as it is already built and you want to use it I would be using tools like Googles keyword tool to find relevant keywords and would consider setting up a Google Adwords campaign to see what keywords are really getting the most traffic. This will tell you what keywords to concentrate on and focus your efforts to get those keywords ranked.
