Google backlinks

Can anyone explain me how to get google backlinks? All backlinks that I get are yahoo backlinks, so I don't figure out why I don't get google backlinks. Any Ideas? Thanks

 

You mean, why doesn't Google display your backlinks when you run a query like: link:www.domain.com ?

Google registers and counts your backlinks, but when you execute a query like the above you will see only a limited number of your backlinks. I recommend you use Yahoo Site Explorer (https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/) to verify your own & your competitors backlinks.

 

Google would also be counting your link but it do not show all link with operator link:site.com
For that you need to register in Google webmaster tool and verify your site there. Then you can find that Google actually show more backlink than Yahoo site explorer.

Google doesn't consider the no-follow backlinks and so it wont take it as the count.

 

Because the google shows only do follow sites backlink and it doesn't consider the no follow backlinks.

 

look for a quality sites or blogs that has a high page rank.

 

Where did you read this ? As I know Google show both types of links but consider only dofollow for ranking and PR.

Google definitely does consider nofollow backlinks, amongst many other things they don't make publicly available (ie backlinks)

 

Google counts those links as back links which has goody quality.That means a back link which comes from good PR page and the page contains minimum OBL's and quality content.

 

for me not important if BIG G indexed my links or not as long as my keyword ranking is starting to move it means I'm doing good and BIG G recognize it even he's not indexing my links.

 

Google only follows the do-follow links sites and it counts the quality links.

Google does not take all links as valid backlinks.you should have links from authority sites and high PR sites

 

Google also counting the back links but not showing when you run the link:sitename query. If you want to check google backlinks you can see it in google webmaster tools. Yahoo always show more back links than google...

Yeah, your backlinks are registered, but you need to use webmaster tools to trace your backlinks accurately!
