Ok, ~ 0 inflation, because they are doing everything humanly possible to stimulate the economy and there still remains a sedentary inflation is the actual reactionary argument.....as equally stupid.

The FRB is working in support of the Democratic Administrations successful agenda in rectify the pub recession.

So you acknowledge the Fed buying treasuries is a panic move to stimulate the economy when the fed rate is already at zero. Good. How about answers to my other questions. Is the behavior of fed at all influenced by what party is in power? Does a precipitous drop in the value of the dollar equal inflation?

No, he meant inflation.

Interest rates are not at zero either, so I fail to see how he could have confused either. Aside from that, what he needs to realize is that when interest rates are near zero people with money aren't gonna spend it. And we're not going to lend it either. There's no return.

I'm fairly confident that Breeze believes (however artificially manipulated or not) that inflation is non-existent.

There is no panic at the FRB - simply one of many steps in resolving the pub recession.

The only panic is among the minority Republicans hoping for something bad to happen - Friday will be an opportunity for them with the monthly employment report and also the quarterly reports will begin shortly. The first DOW report is Alcoa tomorrow, a good opportunity for them with that one......

Apparently you are the only one who isn't panicking Breeze. Shall we call it bravery or stupidity? Perhaps you can take all that money you are making in the stock market and buy me a cup of water!

Breeze, you never answered, so I believe you do not have an answer. Inflation has not been kept down. You keep saying things that seem like you do not even live in the United States. Look up what happened in Germany under the time of the Weimar Republic. LINK. Compare what they did with what the USA is doing.

Tomorrows unemployment rate will be interesting but with the present news as a positive indicator the past nos. will have less effect.

Further proof of the receding pub recession. All hail the Democrats.

Polls continue to tighten due to the more educated electorate.

.........

Blue star - what question. There is no calculated monetary inflation at the present time, they are trying to stir it up with low rates, stimulus and would not mind a little.....bring whatever you are after to 2012 but doubtful it will be an issue then either.
..........

Corwin, there is no doubt why you are in the minority - cheer up, others can carry even people like you to the light of day.

It will? Why? You do know what time of year it is don't you? Ever heard of something called "Seasonal Employment"? The jobs number will look promising for two reasons.

1. Those previously on unemployment are now off (not because they are employed) because their benefits ran out.
2. A HUGE number of seasonal jobs (that last 2-3 months) will make it appear as though people are hiring again.

Hell, Kohls departments stores typically hires 40,000 or more in the holiday season. They said yesterday that they would be hiring about 30k this year.

"Receding?" I thought you said it was over? Which is it breeze?

Actually they are widening in every race. From the federal offices all the way to State level legislature races.

I think you should follow the wiki link posted earlier.

Breeze, you're the only one here saying the opposite of what reality is. I'd say you're the one in the minority.

No Mia, reality is the Republicans are voted out of gov't decision making because of their maleficent policies that caused a near economic Depression.....one example any way.

Cheer up, you need 40 seats in the House and 11 in the Senate - you were there till the Tea Party showed itself and are still close so just keep preying.

Oh, time is on your side????

So what you are saying is that there were "maleficent policies" 4 years ago?

Ask around. People had jobs 4 years go kid.

Really? According to new poll data today, 50/50 in the senate only requires 9, and it looks like they've more than go that.

The house on the other hand will have a new speaker soon. Democrats are running scared and frantic right now. And its not just at the federal level. State wide too. A lot of governorships, assembly and state senate seats are in jeopardy.

It is post 5366 LINK above. The prices are skyrocketing on everyday items, the dollar is losing more and more value. It only had about what, six cents in value ? Where in the world is it now ?

Well, don't look now, but it's official - Gallup has the Obama Economy's unemployment for September at a whopping 10.1%.

In honor of this historic unemployment, while Obama was giving a speech the presidential seal fell off his podium.

Wow - isn't THAT symbolic, huh?

Not everyone is listening to the Tea Party.

The Democrats have passed sound economic legislation for national Healthcare that will be the bullwork for generations to come.

What in comparison did the Republicans offer but dry holes and denials - not a bit of legislation and certainly nothing to balance the budget with.
....................

?, for the above quote which doesn't make sense for a polling on unemployment? - that Gallop is on steroids.

The employment no.s come out tomorrow morning and I believe they will be a pleasant surprise.
....................

The vice President is the tie breaker so the Republicans need 10 to pass legislation without a filibuster - I guess you knew that because the Republicans controlled both chambers of Congress and the Executive just recently and did such a bad job they lost everything......and now they are relying on the Tea Party and secret contributions from foreign country's to squeak back in. - - Will they ever learn?

No, not everyone. We have the people like you who think this is how America is supposed to work. Its about a third of the people in the nation who have been setting the agenda. If you want to know how popular the "non-conservative" vote is in swing states, look at Florida.
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...orida_senate_rubio_vs_meek_vs_crist-1456.html
Rubio (R)
41.7
Crist (I)
31.2
Meek (D)
19.5

Crist, an ex-Republican who was too liberal to win his primary and ran as an independent is taking votes from the Democratic candidate rather than the Republican (/cough Tea Party candidate)

With a looser like Crist getting 31% of the vote, what type of paramecium votes for Meek?
