    Hey,
The current download module has led to significant boast in sales for some members. I think your sales haven’t increased that much because it is probably easy to obtain your files elsewhere therefore people have no need to go premium through your links. Your sales will improve if you share popular or unique stuff that make people really want to buy. With that said, you also have to share in countries where sales are very good (mostly groups A & B).

    Thanks

The question was how to earn $70/day plus. Those of us doing so do not do it PPD. ;-)

If you want to increase your sales, Naija offers some good advice.

I don't see what is the point of buying a premium membership if you can't even use a download manager. Every time I try to download something I get that message saying "not allowed" and can only download by browser method "right-click and choose Save As" which gives me a crappy download speed not much better than what a free downloader can get. Is this a permanent change or is something still wrong with Filesonic?

    I ask FileSonic owners:
Please, add re-bills paymens! You can decrease % but add re-bills!

Your main competitor - Oron.com pay for Sales and re-bills (55%) and users have more than FileSonic :(

It is 100% guaranteed that you're going through a transparent proxy. If you do a trace route to filesonic.com, you will see that you go through some IWF server. So were able to make it work for VirginMedia and not BeThere, for instance? Simply sends proper HTTP headers that allow us to identify the user, even if they go through a proxy, while BeThere doesn't send that info along.

Go a simple Google search and you'll see how many people have this issue with BeThere, with various file sharing sites. In fact, on the VirginMedia forum, there's an tech support employee who claimed that they don't use a transparent proxy, but then a user quickly proves her wrong by running a trace route.

Anyways, we will work on this issue, and we might have a solution for premium users very soon, but I want to make it clear that anything we do about BeThere/AOL UK is above and beyond. This is NOT a problem with our code. The easy solution would be for your ISP to stop sending you through IWF, like the rest of the world :). Since that's not possible, we've decided to invest time and money on finding a solution of our own.

The latest versions of JDownloads & IDM work fine with FileSonic premium accounts.

I have the latest version of IDM 6.03 and it does not work. Only will download a small html file and get the "not allowed message". Only Jdownloader works and sometimes you still have to choose redownload to get it to work but not everybody wants to use Jdownloader or look for workarounds.

Hmmm.....good catch, In$ane. If I remember correctly, SM paid for re-bills before the PPD/PPS split, right? I had thought re-bills continued but as you point out, there is nothing concerning re-bills on the promo page. Could someone from FileSonic comment on whether or not re-bills were continued? Thank you.

For your uploads do you guys prefer single clicks or split archives? Which ones seems to generate the best? I would assume that multiple part files will generate more sales but what about total number of downloads?

We do not rebill users right now :). Also, SM offered 30% of rebills. 60% changes the formula substantially.

Anyways, it's not something to worry about for now, since rebills are a non-issue.
