Google urkl shortener is useful

HI,

Now Google introduce the new concept, ie google url shortener(http://goo.gl/). Is this concept helps in improving seo? please clarify also tell me concepts and purpose of this url shortener?

It is really nice tool....I analyzed this tool. I found it provides a facility to short URL with 18 Characters.
Perhaps it will beat bit.ly....

But I prefer to use 3.ly as URL shortener.

 

URL shortners can't help with SEO unless they are doing transparent 301 redirects. I think there 'may' be some juice leak (damping factor) on the way. They can probably be good for you if you are running out of space in our signature.

 

I don't think it is going to help with SEO but it is surely a nice service providing extra analytics too for links.

 

Google will count these url shorter links as backlinks.

Goo.gl is only a url shortener tool. It can't give any help in SEO. Well, this tool is faster than other shortener tools

 

I use bit.ly mostly. but i might give it a try.

 

Wow, that is a pretty sweet URL shortener google has.
It's easy to understand and it gives all information quickly accessible.
For me it beats bit.ly since it's way faster!

yeah, it's great and i will have a try , in the past ,i usually use bit.ly .
