Star Wars - where to start watching it?

Hi there!

Ok so my GF isn't really into sci-fi, but I think the Star Wars double-trilogy is a must see for everyone. But the problem is that I don't know from which episode should we start. With the old one (4,5,6) or with the new one (1,2,3)?

I would really like to start with the old one (4,5,6), but I'm afraid that she won't like it because of the outdated visual effects and stuff...

Seriously?! The outdated visual effects is part of the charm... heheh but personally I would start with the old ones as well.

It'd be silly to skip all four books. You can get away with skipping the Jedi Academy Trilogy (although I wouldn't recommend it).

 

I would be glad if she will watch all the 6 episodes of the movie

 

Watch them in their chronological order .

 

Thats 1,2,3,4,5,6 then right?

 

I love all episodes - new for effects and prehistory, old for great memories ( I love 4-6 episodes from my childhood)

I don't know why people are crazy for star wars.

 

I'm not crazy about it, I just think everyone should see it once. (mainly because there are many-many references in today's movies and tv show's about it)

 

I just watch all the 6 episode, try both way this movie is outstanding and not bored forever

 

I love watching the movie star wars. full movie premises imajenasi very entertain all circles of children to adults.

But we watched the first episode yesterday and it was pretty cool, only the visual effects were crappy a little
