    Cricket-oriented domain: googlecricket.com

Since, I am new at this, please advice whether it makes sense to seek domain registration with the word "google" in it.

    Regards,
    Anubhav

As long as the website the domain is pointing to is not using potentially copyright infringing content or acting as a Google imposter, you are fine. However, I would expect anyone searching for the term Google are looking for Google services. This might be a market to go after, but you will of course be competing with the Big G.

Google is an ugly word IMO.

If I was Google, I would buy search.com instead.

This would be true if "Google it" was not a common phrase. Brand is more powerful than generic keywords, but only after it becomes recognized.

hmmmm....i understand the criticism and my mistake...this was my first try in the domain name niche.
I read dragtastic's legal issue: what would you suggest I do with this apparently useless domain?
Can I get a refund from Go Daddy if I surrender it? is there any way to get rid of it and still not lose money??
    seeking your thoughts..........thanks!!
