You can make this change under General Setting in the Wordpress Dashboard. Look for WordPress address (URL) and Site address (URL).

If you include your keyterm as the subdomain, yes it will help with seo. This doesn't change the domain. It creates a 301 redirect for it. However, you may run into problems with existing urls for your site as well as backlicks. It is best to make the choice of a subdomain when starting the site.

LOL! I am a she :( I guess i have to put some pics on my avatar ahaha.

Well i have subdomain which is www.blog.web6.org and main domain (www.web6.org) and i have installed two wordpress on each of them, i run my free video tutorial for wordpress in www.blog.web6.org and personal blog on www.web6.org. So basically i run two blogs, and not redirected.

To do this, i have set up a subdomain and install wordpress in this subdomain.

I hope this is clear enough :)

Yes you can set this in your Wordpress Dashboard.

    1. login as admin

    2. visit yourdomain.com/wp-admin/options-general.php

    3. change the WordPress address (URL) to http://www.yourdomain.com or http://yourdomain.com (whatever you want)

    4. scroll down and click "save changes"

    Done! :)
