Does Google Local listing affect ranking in other places

    I am wondering whether local listing affect ranking of sites from other location in same country.

    Suppose, My local listing is in Florida, USA , Will my ranking will be different in other part of USA.

    One of my site is ranking on 3rd position from one location in USA but it is on 11 th position from other location in USA.

    Have you any idea on it ? These all are in respect to Google local listing and SERP.

    there is no such effect on listing to listing . even if your business has two branches in the same city block but different addresses and phone #
    only the thing that effects is the google optimization work > how much you have done on what listing ? that is all that matters .

    Thanks for your opinion... Suppose I am selling my goods online to whole USA and have local listing in Los angels, then it will not affect my ranking in other places of USA ?
