If I re-post all my Wordpress blogs on a new site, will it affect me badly in Google?

Hi there, I am wanting to change hosts.

With my currents site, I have about half a dozen wordpress blogs, some with about 30 posts on them.

It seems too complicated for me to transfer these blogs across to the new host.

I am wondering, if I copy and paste all the posts and their date's into a word document, then simlpy install fresh blogs on the new host and paste all the posts into these new blogs (and edit the dates),
will it affect the site negatively?

I'm still looking into how to transfer them properly but I just know about downloading and then importing my phpadmin database information.

    Thanks

    Hello!

Hm If I understand correctly, then you want to move your domains to a different host? Or you have new domains also and want to install Wp there?

The new site would be more likely just being ignored because bots usually don't index contents they've already indexed somewhere, better if you add some new information and little changes on your original posts/contents...

@WishBone I so believe that "duplicate content" is just BS.

If duplicate content was for real then "the whole autoblog industry" would not exist.

Not a good idea, it might change your URL totally.
I suggest you use export/import function that wordpress provides

That's like saying 'If herbal penis extenders didn't work, there wouldn't be a herbal penis extender industry'.

No offense, but it shows a SAD lack of understanding of how the world works.

    Hi,
It might not affect your google ranking, as the google indexes your content with respect to your site domain name.
as, i guess, after moving the sites, you will keep their domain names intact, there must not be any googl ranking negative effect.
other people also keep on transferring their sites from one hosting space to another, for example, from shared to dedicated servers. Please let me know if your issue is resolved.
    Thanks

If you are moving just hosting without changing the domain name then its easy if you are using cpanel on both. It allows backup and then restore to your new host, ask your new hsot to help you with this.

If its a change of domain name too, then exporting and importing would work, but this way will affect a little to catchup rankings on new domain, don't forget 301 permanent redirect if you are changing domain name.

Ofcourse it will be counted as duplicate contents..
Why don't you just transfer the entire blog into your new hosting? It's pretty easy to do so.

Oh, Google point of view... Its already indexed content. So better to first post some fresh posts, Edit the Previous posts and add them to new host.

    1. If you do as you said then you should do 301 from the old pages to new ones. This would help preventing your website from being losted in value.
    2. If possible, I still recommend you to hire someone transfer them for you. It is not funny to keep posting all new for each page again. Take too much time and not worth in my opinion.
