Blog URL Question

My blog URL was supposed to be mydomain.com/blog, why did it end up as mydomain.com/blog/index.php?

How can I fix it?

BTW this is on a crap web host, the one with a reptile as a logo. My other blogs on another web host doesn't have this problem.

Yes, since that's the fastest way to install wordpress

 

Then you should be able to add a folder named blog and place all of the Wordpress files into it.

 

That's what I did but it still didn't work the way I wanted.

I've installed wordpress a few times on 2 different web host only this time it totally messed up. That's why I'm seeking help here.

You will need a plugin for Search engine friendy URLs under wordpress!

 

Silly me!

That was just a problem with my .htaccess! It's okay now! Anyway thanks for all your help!
