I hear the Democratic party is offering a free crack pipe and rock for every registered Democrat who shows up to vote. They say it may be the most effective get out the vote campaign yet. I know they can count on your attendance breeze. You are old enough to vote, aren't you?

The sour losers can hardly wait to vote, after the legislative enactments of the past two years they have nothing much to hide behind......meaningless Iraqi war and economic disaster as the distant memory of their past legacies, quickly forgotten - perhaps not.

The trite slander as your username and religious conversion is a bit much O....Nation - good luck Nov.2.

"Salivating Republicans are already camped out in front of the polls like they're waiting for the next Harry Potter Book, while Democrats remain at home watching tapes of Obama's 2004 "Red and Blue America" speech, weeping and picking Funyun dust out of their belly-buttons"
Jon Stewart, The Daily Show 29-Sep-2010

    "Stop Whining!"
VP Joe Biden to the Democratic voter base complaining that Obama is a huge disappointment

"Really? That's the Democrat's motto for this election? 'We suck less'?"
    Jon Stewart, Sept 2010

Hey, Breeze, try not to weep into your Funyuns.

Hey, Breeze - how old are you? What do you do for a living?

All eternity remains till Nov 2nd - anything and everything may happen, even an appreciation for the liberal Democrats saving this country from a near certain pub Depression and for sweeping National Health Care legislation destined for Historical Preservation.

    - * In case there are any members capable of a comment above the grade school level for a political post, I am willing to give the prospect a seconds chance - previous posters need not apply.

After all the positive legislation passed by the liberal coalition in Congress and the Executive branch of gov't does it seem possible the electorate will not recognize their wholesome contribution to the future in the solutions over the past than a possible retraction to the reactionary, self-serving agenda of the Republican party?

I think not, the Democrats will hold Congress because they have earned the right, if for no other reason than having put an end to the Great pub Recession that easily could have turned into a full fledged Depression.

The Irony being the liberals in saving the country may be repaid in a reversal of numbers by a public that is persuaded to do so by the very irrational parties and their well funded promoters that originally put the country in peril to begin with.

breeze is being funnier than usual.

Hmmm.... let's see... the rally was held by "organized labor"? Oh, you means Obama's special interest groups where ORDERED to show up, right? It was promoted by over 400 groups and 87,000 people showed up, most from the DC area.

Contrast that to Glenn Back's rally which drew 500,000 people from all over the country. I'd say that, in contrast, the poor Liberal's rally was a pathetic failure. Even CNN didn't give it much press coverage. And the Sunday morning news programs barely mentioned it.

Hey, Breeze, if, as YOU claim, the recession is over and jobs have been created, why is unemployment still unchanged at 9.5%? How can you make that claim?
Why is the value of the dollar dropping, dropping, dropping? Breeze, you don't even understand this chart, do you?

Hey, Breeze, how old are you? What do you do for a living, huh?

Well, this whole thing goes so much deeper than just the past 2 years it is hard to even get started, but basically the whole of the house and senate has failed "We The People" for their own agendas and I could go on for hours about how they have failed us, but all of these need to be repealed immediately:

NAFTIA / or is is NAFDA
    Cap-N-Trade
    BO Healthcare
Homeland Security - Unless you don't mind them being able to just break into your house whenever they so please. I do!

    and the list goes on.

They are taxing everything from the very first part or ingredient, from tarriffs, to sales taxes. Have you checked your cell phone bills, car and house insurance, cable/directv/dishnetwork and on and on lately.

AEP was just granted a 14% plus increase in their electric billing and the state got another 3% added on too.

We don't or at least shouldn't have to pay income tax any longer, as we have paid way more by the time we get to the April 15th deadline in other taxes than our income taxes would have been in the first place.

It has been said that we now pay higher taxes today, than what the boston tea party was brought about by in the first place.

Honestly, does N. Polosi or however you spell it, really need two new jets built for her, just so she can travel back and forth to California from Washington at our expense. I have read that the fuel alone, not to mention the costs of the jets and crews costs the tax payer over $600,000 a year and I would imagine that to be low.

Does the Obamas really need a jet built just for their dog, as they didn't want it traveling in air force 1, poor thing.

Have you taken a look at what your national and even your local politicans make lately? If not, you should?

That is why in Bell, CA they are now being prosecuted due to the graft of public money.

And the list goes on and on, but then that is just me.

The whole system has and is failing the american public, both you and me and the only option we have it to vote the bums out, but honestly, will that work either, as the house and senate both only have to serve one (1) term to get their entire pay for the rest of their life, not to mention totally FREE healthcare, what do you get?

The whole bunch of them has failed us, not just one or a few.

But then that is just me.......

Bell may be the poster child, but from my seat, it seems much of our government feels similarly entitled. The only reason the criminals from Bell are siting behind bars is because the citizens have been quite literally camped outside of city hall with torches, ready to burn them out. Even then, the police chief remains uncharged because D.A.s and Police Chiefs protect each other in an unspoken alliance. The guy is clearly a criminal. We've become so accustomed to brushing off and ignoring abuse by our governance, they have become like a petulant child, impervious to any threatened rebuke. If anything, they have been emboldened by the inaction of the populous.

Does Pelosi really need a private jet? Do they all really need a vested pension after 5 years? Do they really need a $177,000/yr salary for part time work? Do they all really need large staffs paid for from the taxpayer fund? Start the cuts at the top and the bottom will take care of itself.

Intrade seems to predict that the Democrats will retain control of the Senate, but that Republicans will take control of the House.

To my mind, the bigger story will be how -- if at all -- this election changes the Republican party.

Intrade may be right, but the best part is that at least this way, there will at least be everyone watching everyone else that way and but it could create a situation, where we could be pushed headlong directly into the depression everyone has been waiting for too. Lets hope not, but things are not looking very good, but either way, I see inflation coming with a vengence at some point and that is the only thing that they want at this point, as deflation is their biggest enemy due to the lowering of the tax receipts, know what I mean?

Not if just the House falls - the Senate with what the Republicans are running as candidates would indeed be a cause for alarm that would be deliberated world wide. Just consider Bush II as a prime example.

The Democrats will retain both houses and it is primarily conservative Demo's on the block that will change little in actual content.
