    The Beatles have always been one of my favorite but needless to say, Coldplay are no less either. Seriously, whenever it comes to choosing the best among these two, I simply can't. However, expecting you to share your opinions. Please go ahead!

    r u kidding me? comparing the beatles to coldplay? LOL

    Um - beatles by a landslide - coldplay will never be what the beatles were

    this reminds me of the line from 4- yr old virgin - "you know how I know you're gay?" --- "you listen to coldplay"

    I agree. I'd like to see Coldplay top what Beatles has for classics...this is an odd comparison, given that its music from a different generation!

    That's what I was thinking. How on earth can you compare Coldplay, a mediocre band at best, to the phenomenon that was the Beatles?

    How it that even a choice??? Coldplay will be forgotten about over time, they're music for this era, where as the Beatles transcend eras. Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison are close to geniuses.
