As you all are aware that Paypal does not refund payments made for digital products I have been scammed by user emotheraphy (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/member.php?u=276824). I purchased the service offered on this thread (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1944260) and I got spun content instead of re-written articles as promised. I have also attached a few samples of this seller's work. Do take note of the use of the word 'Inch' in a few of these articles. I need help getting a refund from this scammer and will appreciate any assistance in this matter. DP should have a dispute resolution section. If DP does have a dispute resolution section I will really appreciate it if any of you can provide me the link.
We don't get involved in disputes between members. Google "mediation services" if you are interested in finding a company to help you. And this is a little off-topic, but what the hell did you expect for the price of $0.50 an article? Just like anything else in life, you get what you pay for.
Come on now... Most forums offer mediation services... I mean if I send you the sample this guy showed me and the final service that I got you would notice the difference in the level of writing. Thing is he is now offering this service to others too... More people will get scammed. It's not the money I am worried about or the negative iTrader I got from this guy for bad-mouthing him... (btw I discovered I can give him as many -ve iTraders as I want based on one thread...you might want to look into that). It's the principle of the matter. I had a chat with this guy and I made him proof-read the article and he agreed that it was crap and he would refund me and I said 'sure, fine'. But no refunds!!! I have been a member since 2006 and an avid reader since 2002. Never got into the purchasing services thing 'cuz thanks to DP and other forums out there most SEO tactics can be done on your own. This is probably the second time I tried using services advertised by members on DP... and I get burned. Sorry for rambling but I had to get this out... PS. If you guys don't do anything about this now... I don't want to imagine what DP will be reduced to within the next few years (and I will might even be aiding that... if you forget about the ethics part for one moment, no one hates easy money). PPS. Just like anything else in life, you get what you pay for, which is what has been advertised. (I trusted DP... My mistake).
