Pink Floyd, Dream Theater Anyone?

I am a die hard fan of progressive rock and this two are my favourite. Pink Floyd is my life actually. So how many of you guys listen to this bands? Please name your favourite song of any of them.

 

Learning to Live - Sung by both of them! My favorite is "wish you were here" though. Nice taste BTW.

 

Thanks man. My most favorite pink floyd song is Comfortably Numb.The world two best guitar solos are in there . And for Dream Theater it is the Live version of Hollow Years performed in Budokan, Japan. BTW Do you know that mike portnoy has left DT?

What are your fav songs from DT and Pink Floyd?

 

I forget to mention my fav of DT and that's "Answer lies Within".

 

I am hardcor fan of both groups especially Pink Floyd. Favourite song? Very hard for me to choose, Wish you were, Comfortambly Numb, Shine on...I am a fan of Syd Barrett too. His songs are amazing. He was a genius. Maybe someone of you will go on a concert of Roger Waters? Wow! Nice to know that you are a fan of Syd Barret as well. Syd is often ignored by many PinkFloyd fans these days. But he build the bridge for Pink Floyd. Did you see the documentary " Pink Floyd and the Syd Barret story"?

 

Pink Floyd rock. A Saucerful of Secrets is an incredible album. Dream Theater can play their instruments, but lack creativity and are kind of boring to my ears.
