3000 Directories - Free directory list has been completely updated

A couple of weeks ago, I was pretty proud when my list of directories reached 3000. I annouced it in this thread. A couple of people asked how current the information was. I thought it was current but it wasn't. I was amazed at the directories that switched from free to paid and some that stoped being directories. I learned this the hard way, by going through the free directories (PR1-PR6) one at a time.

At the time, we had
850 Free and
600 Paid / Reciprocal

Today we now have
718 Free and
820 Paid / Reciprocal

Of the free directories remaining, hundreds of them now have coments that will allow you to decide if it is worth your time. Things like:
- temporarily not accepting free submissions
- multiple directories stored on the same IP
- duplicate category structure as other directories

The PR has also been updated on all the directories. I believe the list is extremely useful. Use it today before the next waive of directories turn to paid.

P.S. Even though I have deleted hundreds, I have added even more. The site now has 3100 directories listed.

how many hours did it take you? also, you might want to consider removing that pr9 image from the top google ad, I think it's against Google TOS

I submitted my first website to many of the directories there and also now i am using only yours to submit the sites

I think if there is a good list that is containing all the directories I would recommend yours only

Thanks for my webdirectory being listed.

 

I have spent Hundreds and hundreds of hours. Luckily, the research is also used for Best Web Directories. For example, I submitted to hundreds of free directories in updating the 3000 directory list. In the next couple of days, I'll be looking into which PR4 and PR5 directories approved my submissions, with the eye of adding them to my free directory list.

Does the Adsense TOS specifically talk about the PR image?

Your sites have been in the list since mid October. Do a search for the domain sleekdirectory.com . The results are showing near the bottom. I'll have to fix it.

hello...

well the thing is that all these domains i currently own arent 1 year old. they are less than a few months old and sleek was just purchased recently from someone and has been totally revamped as of 1 hour ago. you are correct that sleek is in their as its on page 8 . I will try to add my other 2 sites sites again and hopefully they get listed.

Update...... they were now added ,hope you accept them. biz-giant has got a pr3 this last update.

I have just added a bunch of directories that are stored on the same IP.

If you want to submit or advertise on a particular directory, just do a search for the domain.
