Definitely. We still can't spot the problem, but I'll have my techs look at it further on Monday. And, rest assured, we will make sure to compensate you fairly, as we always do.

Downloaders are now complaining they have to wait 10 minutes before even their first download. Within those 10 minutes they will search for the file elsewhere. I thought it was supposed to be 10 mins on the second and subsequent files. This is way too long to wait for the first download. Hotfile is 60 secs, fileserve is 30 secs and sometimes 15 secs, rapidshare is 60 secs, etc. Please advise.

While I would agree the download page is poorly designed for free users, "the buttons, texts, etc." are not an unusual feature on files hosts' download pages. The problem and the confusion with FileSonic (and similarly with FileServe) is the download options are not made prominent. Downloaders are instead forced to hunt them out. If FileSonic were to make the download options prominent, the rest (testimonials, upsells, texts, buttons, etc.) is all fine as is.

I would seem to me that the confusion is stemming from FileSonic's unique timing approach, not from shared IPs. While most hosts reset their timers after shorter intervals (30m-2hr depending on extent of usage), FileSonic waits 24 hrs to reset its timer. For example, a free downloader snatches a file Friday night and logs off. He comes back Saturday afternoon, finds another file he would like and begins a download. If he is accustomed to using other hosts, their timer has run down and he assumes this is his "first" download. On FileSonic's timer, however, this is his second download. See what I mean?

Whether or not this is a sound policy is a valid debate, but the confusion should not be passed off on shared IPs. It should be noted that while FileSonic maintains the 10 min wait for 24 hrs, the wait time does not proceed beyond 10 min. Other hosts do have timers which reset much quicker, but their wait times continue to increase the more you continue to download. For example, whereas you could reach a 90 min wait time with HotFile, you will never wait more than 10 min with FileSonic. You need to factor this into any arguments seeking change in FileSonic's wait times.

The new layout is bad for free downloader and some uploader which only want to sharing, not earning money.

I am not talking about me, but I know someone did.

Many people sharing file not for earning purpoes. They just want to sharing!

These people will like to using the serve which is stable, high speed and easy download.

That is why MU and HF so popular in the whole world.

Bad example, friend. HF has long been one of the top choices for spammers the world over. Hardly a group "just wanting to share."

This has to be the third post asking this question in as many days. quickben is quite correct that it is prohibited, but I'd still like to hear one of you asking for two accounts to explain why you think this would be financially beneficial. I'm not mocking you. I'm genuinely curious. I cannot see for the life of me how you wouldn't take a loss with two such accounts as opposed to one.

You can't be serious. If they argue stability, speed and easy downloads are the reason they're using filesonic then they're lying. Filesonic has only just become reasonably stable (on weekdays..). They're a reliable and trustworthy host but they're no charity. Maybe your friends should try mediafire. I have no idea how they sell premium accounts. You can download from that site with one click (and even in parallel!). Ridiculous!

Well Sharing an Anime will not get you sales but only downloads. So I think I will stick to fileserve and just have a pay per sale in FileSonic ^^

If all your sales came from 1 place you could do pps there and ppd all around the interwebz. It would probably be too much work for maybe no profit anyway but that's the only possibility that came to mind. Also you would get paid $0 as soon as filesonic figured out that stupid plan.
