Hi, I am using <img alt="1st keyword, 2nd keyword, 3rd keyword, 4th keyword, 5th keyword"> is it fine ? or I should do some thing else? I am waiting of your suggestions.
Better to optimize for one keyword per alt tag so as not to dilute its effectiveness. There should be many alt tags, enough for you to optimize for all your intended keywords.
I'm assuming that alt is just as an example... it doesn't actually include an image url, if that's what you're really using I'd say it's likely the SE's will regard that as spam as you're not actually showing an image. Assuming you are showing images, I'd say that's still too many keywords and what you're writing will lack context. I'd probably go with something like: <img src="xxx" alt="Illustration showing 1st keyword in action" /> Something even more explanatory would be good, remember: one reason for the alt is it's read to people using a screen-reader. It's a good idea to provide a truly useful alternative for the image content as well as using it for seo.
Neato..never thought of that one! I agree alt tags should be descriptive and short, and shouldn't be spammed because the big G knows better
Don't use all your keywords in one alt tag. use many alt tags made up of your one or two main keywords only. Don't spamm your alt tag with keywords..... The Alt tag should be relevant to the used picture.....
