Sudden Burst of traffic

hello,

my site is just 2 month old and today i have seen sudden burst in traffic from google.
i used to get around 10-15 people daily but today i just went from 10 to 100.
Is it safe to get this much increase in a day?
please help
i'm worried that i may get banned from google and then adsense as well

 

New sites are often rewarded with bumps of traffic here and there. Also, at the beginning of a new month, ranks usually dance a bit. I mean, if you are making quality content and getting relevant links back to your site, that could have something to do with it.

 

yes i already have over 2500 backlinks for my site
so this much rise in traffic is normal?

 

Yes, depending on the types of links you are receiving, your site will be bumped up and may settle down under what your increase is at atm. Eventually, when your traffic settles down, it should be a little bit higher than it was at the bump.

 

Of course it's safe..
May be you got a hike in your SERP.

 

I forget exactly who it was, but I did hear about one person getting their AdSense account disabled (then re-enabled) because of a "massive" increase in "type-in" traffic.
The reason for the spike was because the owner had been featured/interviewed about his site on a very popular radio/podcast show.

Small increases are no problems at all.

Enable Google analytics on your sites. It would be easier to find out from where the traffic is coming in.

 

It makes sense that if Google has just found another massive load of links into your site, and they refresh their rankings, you'll jump up the listing.

But, don't get complacent. This could be temporary, and it definitely will be if you now stop your marketing thinking you've tamed the Google beast. You haven't, it's always on the prowl for fresh meat and you have to make sure that your meat is always fresher than the next gazelle leaping across the internet plains.

I wonder why I just went off on that tangent? I think I've been watching too many nature programs. lol

 

i use both statcounter and analytics
my site is on the 1st page on google now for the keyword "android apps"

 

My blog is more now two months old and I just don't have some time to maintain and obtain some backlinks for them. However, I have a constant traffic that ranges from 1 to 10 and they are all visits from a bot.

 

dont be an idiot , traffic is good , why will you get banned , now write good content and get more ...

What to worry? If google is sending u traffic, meaning they like u. But this is for sure a temporary thing. It happens to me too many times. So stop being happy and lazy.. keep on working.

 

It's Good. Traffic is always good. Just use good content and create regular backlinks.

 

Why are you getting worried mate ? What is medium of traffic ? if its organic traffic, then you should be happy because Google likes your website thats why Google is sending traffic

Small changes will not create any problems. Its the big traffic boost that creates some troubles for adsense publishers.

 

This might be due to some of your keyword rank better in SERP. if all of them are natural traffic, you have nothing to worry about it

 

If the sudden burst in traffic is not something you had your hands on ( like buying traffic) then you have nothing to worry about and should be happy, otherwise brace for impact.

 

This is good for you, if you get search engines traffic. This shows that you have ranked on any keyword(s) in Google and getting traffic from there.
