I wouldn't expect much less from someone advertising Sharecash in their signature...

so IDM just updated thier software in 29/09/2010 but as i epxected they didn't include filesonic in thier update, and god knows when they will, till then i have to stuck with browser based downloader which suck big time

 

You can try downloading with Jdownloader.. They updated the system yesterday and now it seems to be extremely fast!

I updated as soon as it was released on the 29th of September and have downloaded a few files from FileSonic since. I can confirm that it is working without problems.

Are you serious? A legless turtle would be faster than the Filesonic programmers team. Mind that, a snail with neuro-muscular dystrophy would outrun them.
Incapable of putting a file hosting website together in two months... Unfreakingbelievable!

 

Does anybody know what the payment number is supposed to be in the settings section. I never received one from Filesonic. If you use paypal what do you put there? Thanks

Ok Thanks Female111. I just updated it so I hope they will send payment in time since today is friday. Every time I email them with a question I never get a response which is disappointing. HF does the same thing though. Does anybody know of a better way to get in contact with these guys other than just email them?

 

Really? How much down time have you experienced this week? Nothing really outside of the times the site was under maintenance, eh?

I have not in the past, nor do I intend to now, made excuses for the bungling which characterized August. Heck, I would even go a bit further as they did not "put together a file hosting website", but rather were forced of necessity to replace one they wrecked. Still, you have to give credit where credit is due and admit that regardless of how long it has taken to reach this point, the site has been overall reliable this week. You have to admit the work of the past couple weeks after FS-IT started over and began replacing modules instead of "repairing" has been of a different, much higher caliber than the duct tape approach of August, do you not?

Right; I already wrote this 12 hours ago here on this board, and I've sent a bug report. But nobody noticed.

 

When the payment?

 

Don't worry guys you will be paid. Filesonic has always paid on time and fixes any issues that have to do with compensation. I've never heard of them not correcting mistakes in this area.

To Filesonic: Is there any way to add a category for reported and deleted files like fileserve has? There is no way to tell right now. Also is there a time estimation (ETA) on fixing the file manager such as telling how many downloads per file and being able to sort by date uploaded, last download, alphabetical, number of downloads, and file size, etc.? I know you're still working on getting things up and running but maybe an estimation would be great. The current file manager is archaic and out of the 1970's as is. Sorry.

Nah, just kidding. Payments have been going out around midnight GMT the past few weeks. Give it another 4-6 hrs and you should see it. You might want to check your settings while you wait. Sounds like your first payment. I wouldn't want to see you get delayed because your payment information is incomplete or missing.

Even without updating the file manager (which would be appreciated), FS has a system in place to issue emails upon deletion. Unfortunately, the system has not worked in a couple of weeks. It has been commented on several times, but there has been no word from FS yet as to why this is not working.
