Wordpress - Images not uploading

Recently, I moved my blog from a folder to sub-domain. All things were working fine since day before yesterday.

From than, I am facing problem in uploading images to posts. Unable to understand the problem.

After crunching when Insert the image in post it displays just a small cross.

Can anyone help me solving this issue?

 

do download it again and upload. one problem occur on me to my previous client is the video embed but then its okay now. just try it.

check the folder permissions in your file manager, you may need to increase permissions to 755 or 777

 

Permission are all set to 755 and I have also given a try to 777.

have you changed the url to the blog within the settings folder?
are the images being uploaded to site.com/directory/wp-content/uploads/ or are they still going to site.com/wp-content/uploads/

 

Finally, I have done it.

Followed ramoj's process. Exported everything, created new database and imported them all in it. Now images are being uploaded via media tool
