We all know that google hates reciprocal exchange links in large quantities. But what if I put rel = "nofollow" to not pass juice to the linked sites that I'm doing the change? Can I be punished anyway?

Even with Nofollow google can penalize me? It is not unfair, since the intention is to publicize the site as a partner and do not pass juice

Why would you bother with a large number of link exchanges when they are so terribly ineffective?

Why would anyone exchange links with you if you 'nofollow' your links?

Why waste time worrying about getting penalized?

How about building a quality website that others will link to naturally?

In essence you are selling the link for the cost of a link back. Google says that if you do sell a link then it should be nofollow. Link exchanges isn't going to help you much and are more than likely to get you penalized.

The process of link exchange is what Google don't like, regardless of rel=nofollow

There is no problem in providing nofollow links from your website. Google doesn't count those links.

If you put nofollow into outgoing links you'll freeze a part of the site weight anyway. Please avoid outgoing links from your website. There're a lot of possibilities to receive links to your website besides links exchanging.

My niche is women's fashion, and 90% of women have blogs about women's fashion do not even know what SEO means.
I am asking for exchanging links with these bloggers, but I put on my site link to them with nofollow, dofollow them this blog to my site.

First of all nobody would be agree to put his link on your site with rel=nofollow, and if he is putting your link also as nofollow then you can also put his link as nofollow.

Another thing, if you are taking links from the bloggers then I think most of them would be automatically nofollow and you would not get back link benefit, just you would get only traffic benefit. And if they are agree on your condition, then don't have tension, Google will no penalize your for putting the nofollow links on your site. Coz you can see various blogs and social bookmarking site with millions of nofollow links.

No you wont punish but why you will do this. you will face a lot of problems when you use nofollow and not a single webmaster will do link exchange with you as they wont find any benefit for their websites.

    useless at all

As far as I understand it, google does not account exchange links when ranking web site...
In that sense, you can exchange links to the desire, but that will not have a direct benefit in ranking on Google...
And such as a xprtwalk said, an indirect benefit from exchange of links is increased traffic...

If you are getting a link from nofollow website then it will not be counted as backlinks and such links are useless..

Google will not penalize you for using the no follow tag..actually they want you to use it when it makes sense as it helps them to achieve quality SERPS...
